King David said, "Better
is one day in your courts than thousands elsewhere; I would rather be a
doorkeeper in the house of my God then dwell in the tents of the
wicked." Psalms 84:10
Have you ever attended a church or worship service, and the presence of God was so strong that you felt as though nothing else mattered? You never want the service to close because you know once it does this amazing experience will be over. You soon realize that a 1,000 other days would never be able to compare to what you were experiencing.
Let me tell you, Once you experience God's presence like that, you long for Him more and more. You will look for times to return to His Presence again and again.
Having a top position in a company no longer matters. Having a degree and making the big bucks are no longer what your heart goes after. Instead you find yourself being content with what you have and turn your focus to wanting more and more of Jesus!
That's the God I serve. A Heavenly Father who longs for us to know and experience him in a personal way. A Heavenly Father who longs to have a personal relationship with us.
The type of relationship that puts him in the center of all we do. That's when we realize that the things of this world don't really matter at all.
I want to encourage you today; if you have never experienced the presence of God in a personal way, ask Him to reveal himself to you, today. You will not regret it! He wants you to know him. He wants you to know how much he truly loves and cares for you.
Prayer: Father God, I ask that you would reveal yourself to me today. I want to experience your presence for myself. I need you in my life. In Jesus Name, Amen!
Feel free to e-mail me if you would like special prayer.
