Worry or Peace

Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.    Philippians 4:6,7  THE MESSAGE

Anxiety seems to be a natural part of each of our lives, but according to scripture it doesn't have to be that way. When we were younger we worried about very little. Now that we are all grown up worry seems to come about more frequently.

When it comes to the truths of God's Word a godly man once said, "Either you believe or you don’t." After praying he would then say, "Now thank God for the answer."

The problem with worrying about tomorrow is you never run out of tomorrows. We must learn to live life one day at a time. God only gives us help we need for today. He doesn’t give us tomorrow’s help today.

So don’t worry about what you are going to do tomorrow, because when you get to tomorrow, God’s grace will be there to meet you and give you what you need.

God's answers are expressed in his love for us. When we put our faith in trusting God and his Word we soon find ourselves exchanging our worry for peace and that is a wonderful feeling.
